Oh my gosh I wish I could give more than five stars, this place is the best place for filming in LA.! The owner is so down-to-earth, his name is Phil and he is the best! He is so accommodating and so helpful and he really knows the meaning of customer service! I will not shoot anywhere else in LA but Atomic studios!

Finally!  A full service, creative, positive-energy-filled studio space.  Phil Guye, the owner is a wealth of knowledge, experience, and equipment too. All flat fees as well…  This is the way movie studios should be!  Well equipped, reasonably priced, and ready to serve.  I liked the owner so much I ended up purchasing some used lighting from the man for my own personal studio workspace.   Great place!

The Atomic Studios is truly dedicated in providing excellent customer service. They were able to over deliver on gear and free props. They have a very large green screen that allowed us to shoot everything planned and then some. We even got the studio manager at no charge. The funniest thing was after our 18+ hour day the owner Phil asked “Are you guys leaving already?” LOL and he was not being the least bit sarcastic! Like his site says he is “cool” We look forward to doing another project with these guys.

Phil went out of his way to help me with my shoot, just being a genuine person

I own an entertainment studio in Chino Hills, and have been in the production/entertainment industry for nearly 10 years now.. I have filmed at hundreds of different studios / locations. This site has by far one of the best infinity walls around.. I only shot on the green screen, but they have a huge white wall as well. The location is very roomy which allows for unique camera angles. The owner Phil & staff, are very knowledgeable and kind. Unfortunately, in the entertainment industry we meet 1000s of people who think they know it all! The few that actually do, are against helping others with out a major fee. Phil went out of his way to help me with my shoot, just being a genuine person. The kitchen and dressing room had a very nice modern feel to it. The environment is super important when it comes to shoots, Atomic Studios gave me everything I was looking for, and was reasonable in price.  

I will be shooting here again the in near future.

They will go beyond the call of duty to help your day be successful

I just started my production company and had my first major commercial to shoot. My production team and I researched for five months for a great studio with Green Screen. I thought I had found one until two weeks before the shooting I went to work the details out with the studio and found too many hidden expenses along with the owner never seemed to remember what he promised. So, I searched again and found Atomic Studios the studio fee was higher than the first one I had but I was getting a whole day to shoot and not having to estimate my production hours. There were no hidden charges and I actually saved money because I didn’t have to rent any lighting equipment or props since they have an awesome prop room that is available with rental! My DP has been in the business for over 25 years and when we shot he too was impressed with the studio, the equipment, and the private location.  I love this place so much that I keep going back.  We had a production crew of 30 people and still had room for kids to play away from the set, as a mom that meant the world to me to have my kids there while I film late hours. They offer just about anything you could think of.  Atomic Studios is more than a great place to film, Phil and his wife is are down to earth owners who know how to take care of business. They will go beyond the call of duty to help your day be successful and they did!

Who better to give my first review to than Atomic Studios. I have used them on 5 different productions now and I couldn’t ask for a more helpful or accommodating location to shoot at. Phil and Daniel go above and beyond to make sure that your shoot is a success. Not only is the huge studio space equipped with awesome equipment, but it’s an extremely comfortable environment to work in. They never put pressure on you to hurry up and get out, or charge you more for each piece of equipment you use, or have strange fees popping out of nowhere. What you get charged is exactly what they say you’ll be charged. As a independent producer, having no hidden fees is exactly what I need to hear!

This studio has a HUGE pre-lit green screen, and HUGE white cyc, tons of flats, fabric, props, set dressing, state of the art equipment…the whole works. It really can be a one stop shop if you know how to shoot in a studio. You get a free build day, and a full 24 hours to shoot on your shoot day. So even if you want to bring in a build team and then  bring in your full crew after, you have plenty of time and don’t feel like you’re getting charged by the hour.

I’ll post some photos from some of my shoots if anyone is interested in seeing what can be done there. It can be completely transformed into so many different looks.

If I need a studio, I always know who to call. The  flexibility and relaxed vibe of this place makes it a no brainer. I’m a fan 🙂

Phil has always been great to work with and is endlessly professional, helpful, intelligent, and generous in all that he does. He goes out of his way to accommodate the productions shooting at his Awesome studios/soundstages/greenscreen rooms with extra lights, stands, and other equipment that they may need at a completely reasonable and efficient price. Not only does he do a phenomenal job supplying filmmakers with quality equipment, but he is also a talented D.P., Gaffer, and Director in his own right.

Phil treats his cast and crew with the utmost respect and that’s why I have worked with him on several films, music videos, and industrials. It’s also the reason why I’ll continue to work with him and shoot my own projects at his Atomic Studios, which has consistently progressed and expanded since its inception.
